I did something unusual for me last night.....I actually slept most of the night.....I had to be in Pasadena at 8am.....About a 20-mile drive from here.....When you have to be in Pasadena for any reason, well.....I actually like Pasadena, it's just kind of different from the rest of the Metro area.....On the way, another driver was in an awful hurry.....I was in lane #2, next to the fast lane, and he zoomed past me in his red Mazda like I was standing still.....I had to be doing an easy 65 at the time.....About 5 miles up the freeway, I see the red Mazda, pulled over by the CHP.....I've gotten speeding tickets before, it's an expensive mistake.....Drive careful, now.....Attention TBN fans (all 12 of you): Didja catch Sunday's LA Times front page story?.....Wonder what TBN will say about it.....For the uninitiated, TBN stands for Trinity Broadcasting Network, a group of small, low-power UHF stations.....They're part of the Religious Right.....TBN Founder Dr. Paul Crouch, according to the Times, is being sued over an alleged same-sex affair.....His wife Jan was Tammy Faye Bakker's inspiration for her make-up job.....That's not a joke.....In the book "Forgiven", about the PTL shenanigans, it was mentioned that Tammy Faye was emulating Jan Crouch.....Yes, Dr. Crouch has spoken against same-sex marraige.....On another note, Triple H is once again WWE Champion, for about the 48th time.....He always seems to have a belt, or be hovering around one.....I guess it helps being married to Vince McMahon's daughter.....His real name is Paul Levesque.....He'll be billed by his real name when the new Conan The Barbarian movie comes out.....He's taking over the role from an actor who had a recent career change.....More WWE real names: Kane is Glen Jacobs, who will also soon be starring in a movie.....Edge is Adam Copeland, who was a boyhood chum of Christian, who is Jay Resso.....Chris Jericho is Chris Irvine, his father Ted played in the NHL.....Trish Stratus is Patricia Stratigius.....Eric Bischoff's name is real, and he maintains his own seprarate office here.....He has a production company, and his business partner is Jason Hervey, who played the mean older brother on The Wonder Years.....I've already had an eventful week, and it's only Monday, what else is going to happen the rest of it?.....Prediction: Green Bay Packers (+3) 33, Carolina Panthers 24.
