Why is it that you always get hungry in the middle of the night, regardless of whether you've smoked something or not?.....It's 3:20 am and no one's opened the peanut butter yet.....Since I started this entry around 20 minutes ago, I've had hunger pangs, an IM, a phone call, and my cat bringing in a mouse.....May I please continue, blog gods?.....Drift Away, the old Dobie Gray hit recently re-recorded by Uncle Kracker and Gray, is a textbook rock n' roll song.....Don't you just hate people who are needlessly unreasonable? You can have all the facts and proof in the world, and they'll keep right on being difficult; Is being wrong every so often really a bad thing? There's a difference between perfection and accuracy.....There's also a difference between trying to impress people and proving yourself; I wish more people knew those differences.....I don't get it: Why are The Price is Right tapings at Television City such a hot ticket, especially for tourists?.....Miles O' Brien of CNN has the coolest name in the media.....I miss Celebrity Deathmatch, with Stacy Cornbread, who was needlessly killed off the show before it's run ended.....The only redeeming quality of The Family Guy, which Fox is bringing back after a two year absence, is Stewy, the homicidal baby.....The Simpsons is the most awesome show on television right now, 15 years and it's as fresh and original as it's ever been.....South Park has lost it, too bad, it was sooo great earlier on.....Strange movie title: Tell Me You Love Me, Junie Moon; Liza Minelli stars, circa 1970.....Show that flick on a double-bill with To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar.....I've read the stats: 80% of homeless people don't panhandle, of the remaining 20%, 90% of them are after drugs or a drink.....If you're going to squander everything on booze or dope, you might as well not have any money, certainly none of mine.....Do a Google Search if you don't believe me.....I could name you several forgotten-about celebrities who pissed everything away.....I hate aggressive panhandlers.....The long-running soap opera Days of Our Lives has become totally unwatchable; Puh-leeze, NBC, pull the damn plug, it's deteriorated into the biggest insulter of intelligence on the tube.....Who would win a race between a jackrabbit and a roadrunner?.....ABC blew it with a high quality show called Line of Fire; Don't recall it? That's because ABC didn't give you much of a chance to see it, I guess they couldn't show you The World According To Jim enough times; Remember, this is the same network that gave you Two Guys and a Girl for what seemed like an eternity, even though nobody I know admitted watching it, just like the Nielson households indicated.....And all those ABC suits now in the unemployment line after the recent purge there must be wondering why they lost their jobs.....More than 40 years after closing down their public schools to prevent integration, Prince Edward County, VA should hang it's head in shame today, and for all time, as should the state of Virginia, with it's horrible segregationist history, such as not letting Arthur Ashe use "public" tennis courts.....I will not visit any state with Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson in it.....Moral Majority, my cute ass.....Everytime I hear Mama Gets High by Blood, Sweat & Tears, I want to do a striptease; It's worth downloading, the song, that is, arguably BS&T's best.....Go Down Gambling is also among their best.....In closing, don't forget to remember, and remember not to forget!
