Heads Up, Habitants,
I need to make some corrections on earlier dispatches:
I was too hard and judgemental on Carribeans and cholos. I forgot about a very nice Carribean lady I met recently, and who, unfortunatly, has left the neighborhood. Just because I saw one act like a jerk on a bad Saturday Night I was having doesn't mean I should stain the whole group.
I've put cholos down in earlier blogs, but the fact remains that I see twenty and thirty-something versions of them everyday, working hard at their jobs, living good lives, taking care of their families, and being good citizens. One guy in particular, Frank, works at the supermarket I shop at, and has always been courteous, helpful, friendly & humorous. I've known him for about 3 years, and we like to talk sports when he has a moment. He just loves the Philadelphia Eagles. I think he's a great guy, and if he wasn't married, and asked me for a date, I think I would go out with him. I'll take a good man with a good job over a cute but unemployed, parasitic boy toy anytime. I guess I forgot about Frank and others like him when I get angry.
I should not go near a keyboard when I'm angry.
Thanks for reading, Byeee! As Always, Anne Alogy
