Hello Again,

The title of this blog was the catch-phrase of the late, great sports columnist Jimmy Cannon.....I read some of his columns while doing research in college, he was awesome.....Microwaved leftover pizza is great in its own right.....My friend Lorna is crashing on my couch, after fighting with her boyfriend.....Sleep well, Dear Lorna.....She looks like such an angel sleeping, but I know better, heh heh.....I saw Little Black Book with Brittany Murphy Friday, and Collateral with Tom Cruise Sunday.....Quick review: Collateral will be remembered at Oscar nomination time, Little Black Book will be long forgotten.....I love buttered popcorn at the movies.....Has noted movie reviewer Bill Harris ever seen a movie he didn't like?.....He even praised Gigli, for cryin' out loud.....Today is the first football game of the season, are you ready?.....Please tell me that President Bush isn't serious about making Clarence Thomas the new Chief Justice.....I'd feel better about our chances of winning the Olympic Gold in Men's Basketball if we had sent the entire Detroit Pistons squad.....The WWE will be in town in 2 weeks, hope I can somehow attend.....Probably sold out already.....It's always a hot ticket.....Vince McMahon is a marketing genius.....I was once invited to play strip poker.....I was told that there were no losers.....I'm a sucker for air shows that feature the Navy's Blue Angels and the Air Force's Thunderbirds.....The few details I know of that horrible mass murder in Florida are already bringing chills down my spine.....The fans and players of the Montreal Expos deserve better.....I hate it when a drunk tries to talk to me.....When I attended Cal State Northridge some years back, the school was still playing football, and I never attended a game.....A few years ago, thanks mainly to Title IX, the school dropped the sport.....Now I regret not seeing a game.....It's obvious to me and anybody with a brain that the National Organization of Women doesn't care about working class and impovershed women, or women of color.....An actual cheer at Cal Tech (and I imagine MIT): LOGARHYTHM LOGARHYTHM COSINE COSINE 3 POINT 1-4-1-5-9!!!

Please tell me that President Bush isn't serious about making Clarence Thomas the new Chief Justice

that's the absolute best reason for voting bush out of office. during the thomas confirmation hearings, i recalled seeing a magazine interview in which the author--attempting to show how real and down to earth thomas could be--directly quoted thomas joking about a porn film hed seen starring longdong silver. it took me several days to locate it and i called everyone i could think of from biden through the national organization of women to bring it to their attention because it directly contradicted his sworn testimony...but to no avail. bad enough being a liar but he's really a feeble legal mind to boot.

*King, there is little I can add to your Clarence Thomas remarks. It only adds importance to Nov. 2, as if there wasn't enough already.
As for your second comment, I'll take that under advisement!

*wuxiaomao, stories like this truly give our country a black eye. I can only hope the rest of the world realizes that the overwhelming majority of Americans are decent, civilized people and can look past stories like this.
