Hello Again,

I always write better after midnight.....Should be an interesting news day Thursday.....The weather situation in Florida.....Hope for the best there.....And some high profile court decisions will be announced today.....Ratings for the Weather Channel will be high.....If your cable system doesn't carry Music Choice, shame on them.....It's what you always wanted from radio.....40 channels of different music, no commercials, and no DJs.....Three kangaroos hop into a bar.....Never mind.....Has anyone else noticed that the Olympics have already started?.....Some soccer games are already in the books.....Can't Ken Griffey Jr. ever get a late-season break?.....The Foster Farms Chickens always make me laugh.....So does the AFLAC Duck.....Does the one-panel comic strip Ballard Street make sense to anyone?.....It doesn't to me.....USC is Sports Illustrated's pre-season #1.....That means the Trojans are doomed.....Citizen Kane gets my vote as best movie, ever.....Rosebud.....<---Citizen Kane humor for the uninitiated.....Casablanca is my choice for second-best.....Toss-up between the first two Godfathers for third.....Too many candidates for worst movie to list now.....Another blog, maybe.....When you see someone in a film supposedly riding a zebra.....It's actually a painted horse.....Turns out that zebras can't be trained.....That would explain some sports outcomes.....Bad joke, I know.....Three kangaroos hop into a bar.....Oh, never mind!.....Tracee Ellen Ross, co-star of UPN sitcom Girlfriends and daughter of Diana Ross, is far more attractive than her mother was in her prime.....And Tracey Ross, owner of a popular West Hollywood boutique, and just out with her own line of very expensive shoes, is just plain gorgeous.....Tracey Ross Shoes start, start I said, at $500.....Browsing is encouraged at her boutique, and children & pets are welcome.....If she's in town, she'll probably greet you personally.....She's a class act.....Was there any connection between Armand Hammer and Arm & Hammer?.....Just once I'd like to see an umpire toss another umpire out of a game.....Why does the name Logan Ramsey keep popping up in my brain?.....Who is he?.....Or, who was he?.....I'll do a search.....Sorry to learn that Sable (Rena Mero) has been let go by the WWE.....Did the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in effect trade Warren Sapp to the Raiders for Tim Brown?.....Tim Brown was the last LA Raider.....Isaac Bruce is the last LA Ram.....The late John Roseboro was the last Brooklyn Dodger.....Who will be the last Montreal Expo?.....Three kangaroos hop into a bar.....AW, FUHGEDDABOUDIT!!!

Thanks for reading. 'Til next blog, As Always, Anne Alogy

For a second there I thought this blog was going to be about Peter Garrat -- Australian muscian turned politician -- He was the former frontman of great rockband Midnight Oil

Great blog all the same

So does the AFLAC Duck

open on the anaheim station platform.  two commuters are waiting for the train but we only see them from mid-calf  down...so like four shoes bookshelved by two briefcases

commuter 1 : morrie told me about this full coverage plan that pays even if youre unable to work...you know the one i mean.

duck head pops up on the other side of platform

duck: quacks: AMFLAC

rumbling sound gets louder and whistle announces train is about to arrive

commuter 2 : oh from that company that everyone's talking about down in human resources...what is the name again?

duck: AMFLAC

commuter 1: hell my memory's so shot i half the time i forget the name of this train

duck: AMTRAK

loud screech of steel wheels braking on rails followed by a slight thud. we see a cloud of white feathers and a fraction of a second later the engine appear to our right, pulling into view behind them.

commuter 2 : dammit our train's late again. what's the name of that agency that runs the railroads ?

*Trina_p, You are right about the band Midnight Oil, and I didn't think about it, otherwise I would have found a different title. The day is fast approaching when the entire English Language will be the name of a musical group! Thank you for the nice words.

*Kingbee, You could have worked in AAMCO (double a-quack quack!-m-c-o) or Elmer's Glue! The possibilities boggle the mind.
As for the kangaroos, I guess they were bar-hopping. Ouch.

Thank you both for the feedback. As Always, Anne
