Hello Again,
Once again the forecasted cool down didn't happen.....The weather nerds on LA TV have been telling us for 3 days to expect a cool down tomorrow.....And they're saying it again.....I'll believe it when I feel it.....It was sooo hot today that the only things I had on all day were the air conditioner, the TV and the computer.....That's it.....When you're single and living alone, you can do things like that.....Don't worry, the curtains were drawn.....Got a telephone invite for a pool party, which I gladly accepted.....I finally put something on my person.....My swimsuit.....And in this heat, it felt heavy.....After a quick greeting from the hostess, I kicked off the sandals and dove right in.....It felt great!.....I think I stayed in the pool for over an hour.....It was great to see some people I hadn't seen for awhile.....I won't name-drop, but the actor known as the patron saint of Jump The Shark was there.....He's one of the nicest people you'd ever want to meet.....So was a member of a large, very well known acting family.....Clue: his sister-in-law was on Friends.....He's also a nice guy.....Got home a little after 2am, feeling all cooled off.....When I turned the computer on, my AOL screen informed me it was 70ยบ.....It's probably over 80 in Palm Springs right now.....I was taught when I was younger to always consider the source.....With that in mind, and with their lengthy track record, I believe CBS News.....Joe McCarthy, Birdseye, Richard Nixon & Enron all tried in vain to discredit them.....You know what they say about people who forget history.....Say what you will about Kitty Kelley, but no one has ever sued her.....Love them or hate them, The National Enquirer has an excellent track record along legal lines.....Editor-In-Chief Mike Walker will tell you that himself.....Rush Limbaugh hasn't sued them yet.....And probably never will.....Quick NFL picks: Steelers over Raiders, Ravens over Browns, Texans over Chargers, Cowboys over Vikings and Chiefs over Broncos.....Sooner or later, the Chicago Cubs will have to replace 90 year-old Wrigley Field.....Prolly sooner than Wrigleyites want to think about.
Thanks for reading. As Always, Anne Alogy
